This privacy policy applies to all personal data processed by our company and to all personal data processed by companies commissioned by us (processors). The processing of personal data ensures that we can offer and invoice our services and products, be it online or offline. The scope of this privacy policy includes:

  • All online presences (website, online platforms, etc.) that we operate.
  • Social media presences and email communication.
  • Mobile applications for smartphones and other devices.

In short, this privacy policy applies to all areas in which personal data is processed in a structured manner by the company via the channels mentioned. Should we enter into legal relations with you outside of these channels, we will inform you separately if necessary.

We provide you with transparent information on the legal principles and regulations, i.e. the legal bases of the General Data Protection Regulation, which enable us to process personal data.   • Contract (Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR): We process your data in order to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual obligations with you. For example, if we conclude a sales contract with you, we need personal information in advance.
  • Legal obligation (Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. c GDPR): If we are subject to a legal obligation, we will process your data. For example, we are legally required to keep invoices for our book keeping. These usually contain personal data.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR): In the case of legitimate interests that do not restrict your basic rights, we reserve the right to process personal data. For example, we have to process certain data in order to be able to operate our website securely. Therefore, the processing is a legitimate interest.

  • In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz), in short DSG.

Information Collection, Use, Sharing

We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct touch points. We do not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We may use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We do not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill operation needs, provided a legally binding agreement, that enforces this privacy policy, is in place.

Unless you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we may write to you in the future to share information on special offers, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Consent and Control Over Information

You are entitles to contact us via at any point in time with inquiries/requests regarding:

  • What data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via this website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for the HTTPS character combination at the beginning of the address of any of our web pages.

We not only use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are all situated within the EU, and in a secure environment.

We use Vercel to serve you all web pages on this site. We also rely on Google and Brevo to manage contacts and automate e-mail send out. These companies are legally obligated to refrain from copying, sharing, storing or using personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond providing Floating Ground with web hosting (Vercel), contact management and e-mail automation (Google & Brevo).
